Stand Together, Speak Up, Create Change.
Denim Week 2026 is more than an awareness campaign—it is a call for communities to unite, support survivors, challenge harmful myths, and take action to prevent sexual violence. Throughout the week, people across the country are encouraged to wear denim, start conversations, and participate in meaningful ways that create safer and more respectful communities.
Denim Week began as a response to victim-blaming and the dangerous idea that clothing can excuse abuse. Today, the movement continues to send a clear message: sexual violence is never caused by what someone wears, where they were, or the choices they made. Responsibility belongs solely to the person who causes harm.
Why Denim Week Matters
Sexual violence impacts individuals of every age, gender, and background. Survivors deserve to be believed, respected, and supported. Denim Week gives communities the opportunity to raise awareness while promoting consent, healthy relationships, accountability, and prevention.
When we stand together, we help create a culture where violence is not tolerated and survivors know they are not alone.
