Denim Week 2026: Consent Matters

*Trigger Warning: Sexual Violence*

Day one for Denim Week: Consent matters. The power says respect, communication, and autonomy are the foundation of healthy relationships
Second flyer for Denim Week: Day 1. The text on it says: Consent is a freely given, informed, and reversible agreement. Silence is not consent. Pressure is not consent.
The third flyer for Denim Week: Day one says: This denim week, commit to relationships built on respect and mutual consent. A culture of consent begins with everyday choices, with an arrow to text boxes, 1) respect boundaries, 2) ask and listen, and 3) believe survivors
The final power for Denim Week: Day one says: Learn more and take action at respecttogether.org/denimweek

Today, we’re kicking off Denim Week 2026! All week long, we’re coming together to uplift survivors, build stronger communities, and take action together.

We’re starting the week off with something that shapes everything: consent. Consent matters. Consent is a freely given, informed, and reversible agreement. Silence is not consent. Pressure is not consent. Everyone has the right to decide what happens with their body.

When we center consent, we create relationships and communities where everyone feels valued and safe.

Let’s start Denim Week by celebrating what respect looks like.
