Our recent gala was an unforgettable experience, and attendees couldn’t stop raving about the incredible food—the best they’d ever had at any event!
The lively entertainment added to the magic. Guests loved the band so much they asked about its origins. Phyllis Abbott shared how she found the band, Kelly Caldwell & Cashmere. It started with Paul Bernstein, one of the band members and a longtime acquaintance, who first helped LVC back in 2016 when a water line burst at our facility. A few months ago, he reached out to offer his band’s services for our gala. Even more special? Paul’s 16-year-old daughter designed the image of the veteran featured on our t-shirts.
The silent auction was another highlight of the evening, featuring an incredible array of items—from stylish leather cowboy boots to limited-edition whiskey and beautifully customized pens. There was something for everyone, and the excitement around bidding added to the festive atmosphere!
The guys stole the spotlight with their amazing costumes. Brett came as Don Johnson, channeling classic '80s cool, while Heath had everyone in stitches dressed as Richard Simmons—he was absolutely hilarious
It was a night filled with joy, connections, and shared purpose—one we won’t soon forget.
Thank you to everyone who made it special!
