As we go into September, we want to take the time to bring awareness, as September is National Suicide Awareness Month.
This month is dedicated to starting conversations, breaking down stigma, and highlighting resources that can save lives. Suicide impacts veterans, service members, families, and civilians alike—and behind every number is a story, a voice, and a life worth protecting.
Throughout September, we’ll be sharing facts, resources, and messages of hope to remind our community:
You are not alone.
Reaching out for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.
Together, we can support those who are struggling and prevent suicide.
If you or someone you know is in crisis:📞 Dial 988 (Press 1 for veterans and service members)💬 Text 838255 or use the Veterans Crisis Line online chat🌐 Civilians can also text HOME to 741741 for 24/7 support
Let’s use this month to stand united, raise awareness, and offer hope. 💜💚
