Honoring Heroes with Wreaths Across America

Updated: 11 minutes ago

Each December, Wreaths Across America brings together millions of volunteers across the U.S. to fulfill a powerful mission: Remember the Fallen, Honor those who Serve, and Teach the next generation the value of Freedom. This year’s National Wreaths Across America Day is set for December 14, 2024, with over 4,600 locations participating.

On December 14, 2024 at 12:00 pm, KY0195P - Lady Veterans Connect will be helping Camp Nelson National Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.

How You Can Get Involved

Wreaths Across America offers several ways to contribute:

- Sponsor a Wreath: Donations help ensure that a wreath is placed on every hero's grave.

- Volunteer: Assist in laying wreaths or coordinate local events.

- Spread the Word: Encourage friends, family, and colleagues to join this meaningful cause.

2024 Theme: Live with Purpose

The theme highlights stories of resilience and community, encouraging participants to find deeper meaning in their lives by giving back. Executive Director Karen Worcester shared how this message resonates with those turning life’s adversities into calls for purposeful action.

Whether you're volunteering, sponsoring, or simply attending a wreath-laying ceremony, your involvement helps preserve the memory of those who served.
