9/11 Remembrance Day

ree

No words can describe the pain or confusion that occurred after the Sept. 11 attacks. From the unsung heroes on Flight 93 to the search and rescue dogs who searched the rubble to the families who had to mourn the loss of loved ones after the disastrous

collapse of the Twin Towers after two planes were hijacked.

All of us experienced something different that day, no matter what age, as it would go on to shape generations. However, one thing was solidified: We were united. We could not be broken, as a nation.

As you go about your day, please take a moment of silence at 8:46 a.m. for hijacked Flight 11 that crashed into North Tower (1 WTC); at 9:03 a.m. for hijacked Flight 175 that crashed into South Tower (2 WTC); at 9:37 a.m. for hijacked Flight 77 that crashed into the Pentagon; at 9:59 a.m. for the collapse of the South Tower; at 10:03 a.m. for hijacked Flight 93 that crashed Indian Lake and Shanksville, Pennsylvania; and at 10:28 a.m. for the collapse of the North Tower.

Remember those lost, honor those who rebuilt; united and courageous.
